Ayer's Long Coated Shepherds

I am blessed to be the proud owner of two of Sandy Ayer's dogs. I could not be happier with them. Not only are the just gorgeous and huge but they are the sweetest dogs that I have ever owned. Everyone that meets them cannot believe how sweet and gentle they are.

I recently had to kennel them. When I called to check on them, the technician told me that she was amazed. Her comment to me was "most shepherds are aggressive but Dakota and Caleb are the sweetest shepherds I have ever met". I credit that to proper socialization when they were young, but also their breeding.

Sandy's dogs are sweet natured and gentle dogs.

My beautiful girl, Dakota (Ayer's Dakota Blue of White Oak) was born on 1/15/03 and is a Daisy/Sammy pup. She is a big girl weighing in at 105lbs and is 27" tall. Everyone that meets her cannot believe how sweet her temperament is. She loves all kids and all people. They don't come much better than this sweet girl. Dakota means "friend" and she is a friend to all that she meets.

She just loves kids

She is a happy girl always smiling

My handsome boy Caleb (Ayer's Caleb, Spirit of White Oak) is my very best friend and the most loyal dog I have ever owned. He weighs 115lb and is 28 1/2 tall and still has a bit more growing to do. He is a massive, very large boned boy. He intimidates all that he meets with his size, but is just the sweetest most loveable boy around. Anyone that meets him always comments on how huge he is. He is very impressive and appears larger than his weight and height denote because of his large bone structure. Even my vet comments regularly on his massive bone structure. He was born on 5/22/03 and is from the Sissy/Mikki litter. He was one of 10 males in the litter.

Caleb means "loyal" and he is my loyal and faithful companion - and also means "dog" in hebrew. He was named perfectly - my loyal dog.

I was a first time shepherd owner. Sandy states on her site that she is available 24/7 to assist her puppy owners. I can attest to this, as she has been there for me day and night when I had questions, and I had many. Thank you Sandy for everything. You have provided me with two of the most awesome dogs a person could ask for and also your friendship and advice are priceless.

I am the proud owner of two of the best dogs one could ask for.
